Webinar – Quarterly legal update for the commercial sector

Date: Thursday 29th May 2025
Time: 12.00pm – 1.00pm
Location: Via MS Teams webinar link

Experienced partner at Napthens Group and expert in commercial and compliance law, Jon Esner, will host a quarterly legal update for the commercial sector via MS Teams webinar.

In addition to updates from AfterAthena on generational employment changes spearheaded by the Employment Rights Bill, Napthens’ commercial team will deliver further insight for broader legal changes in the commercial sector – including an overview of significant recent decisions and of the forthcoming Data (Use and Access) Bill.

The webinar will, as always, be free to join and both clients and non-clients of AfterAthena and Napthens are absolutely welcome to attend. We hope that this will be particularly useful for in-house counsel, HR professionals and senior management.

On the agenda:

  • A summary of recent commercial contract and employment case law
  • Data protection – an update on ICO decisions and consideration of the Government’s Data (Use and Access) Bill
  • The Employment Rights Bill – what to expect in the most significant changes to employment law for a generation

A Q&A session will follow with an opportunity for you and other experts to collaborate on thoughts and ideas around changes.

Who should join:

  • In-house lawyers and legal counsel
  • HR specialists working in the commercial sector
  • Leadership and senior management in the commercial sector
