Claire Haworth

Claire is a partner at AfterAthena and acts for a variety of businesses, including small owner-managed businesses through to larger corporate entities, educational establishments and charities, on all aspects of employment law and human resources issues from recruitment through to dismissal.

She heads up the manufacturing sector team, working with colleagues with other legal specialists to provide a wide spectrum of legal expertise and manufacturing knowledge to prominent national and regional manufacturers.

Claire also acts for senior executives negotiating new employment terms and severance arrangements and has particular experience in dealing with restructuring and redundancy, guiding employers through the highly-complex redundancy consultation process, thorny dismissals, drafting and reviewing service agreements, restrictive covenants and settlement agreements.

She regularly presents regular workshops/seminars including those held by local intermediaries and delivers in-house training to businesses on a range of employment law topics.
